Intro to Dock's Blog

Dock's Blog is a new site created for family, friends and close relationships made over many years. It's purpose is three fold.

First of all, I have always wanted to have an apparatus to keep in close contact with my family and friends. Many of you will have seen my mug on facebook, but have never received a message from me. There are numerous reasons why I have chosen not to use facebook, but basically, I have just been waiting for the opportunity to create a site that will be more conducive to my particular type of need. Facebook just did not fit that need. With this instrument, anyone can readily look at their choice of pages at any time, and see how Norma and I are getting along, and what we are up to.

Secondly, I have always wanted to devise a place to store my personal writings and stories so they can be utilized as an evangelistic tool. Many have asked me to send them copies of my Biblical studies and real life stories, as well as articles, short stores, poetry and little tidbits that I have written over the years. This will give you the reader the opportunity to pick and choose anything that may be of interest to you.

Thirdly, This is my way of creating my memoirs from documents, pictures, journals, and reminiscences of Norma and I to leave as a legacy to our children, grandchildren and future great grandchildren.

Hopefully, it will be designed so that one can easily move around through God's creation of "cyber space" directly to the different areas in which he or she may be interested. In the coming years,We hope to read many responses from you our friends and loved ones through the Window of Dock's Library.
